The prices

No competitor in this market shows what year two costs next to what year one costs. We publish both, below.

What each path costs, first year and every year after

The full fee schedule. One column for each of the three paths — outside the US, in the US outside Texas, and in Texas — showing the company, the registered agent and the US address, then what you pay today, what you pay right after, and what you pay every year after that.

Services

Why this is the price

No free year, then a jump.
Several services quote a lower number for the first year, then raise it once you’re a customer. The renewal price we tell you on day one is the price you actually pay.
We actually file the paperwork.
As part of the Registered Agent and Agent + Address renewal, Kingsgate actually files your Texas Public Information Report each year — not just a reminder that it’s due.

Not always the cheapest — check who actually files it

Start with “Files your annual report?”, not the price. One of the six providers below doesn’t offer that service at all — you’d have to file it yourself. Kingsgate includes it automatically, every year, in the ongoing price shown here.

We’re not always the cheapest to form the company, and several providers charge less a year to keep it running — this table says so plainly rather than hiding it. Three of the six also don’t offer a US mailing address as a service, at any price; Kingsgate includes that too.

Whether each provider files your state annual report, the one-time cost to form the company, the standing annual cost for a registered agent, address, and filing where offered, and whether each includes a US mailing address — for six other providers and Kingsgate.

Formation is each provider’s one-time cost to form the company — state filing fee, EIN, and their own setup fee — worked out by taking their published full-package total and subtracting their own published standing annual rate (shown here as Ongoing). Ongoing is that standing annual rate for a registered agent, a US mailing address, and annual state filing, where offered — not a discounted first-year rate some providers advertise instead. Both draw on each provider’s own published pricing, checked August 2026; some figures are estimated where sources varied. Kingsgate’s own figures are its real checkout prices, the same ones shown throughout this page.

* Kingsgate’s own row: the $597/yr Ongoing figure above is the standing renewal rate, shown the same way as every provider in this table. Kingsgate’s actual first year is discounted — the registered agent and mailing address are $297 for year one, not $597 — so the real cost to start is $599 Formation + $297 first-year agent and address = $896, the same starting price shown throughout the rest of this page. The $597/yr rate applies from month 12 onward.

What checkout charges today

Where do you live?

This decides what your company needs. It does not change the formation price.

How many people will own this company?

This changes which federal forms your company has to file.

What does this mean?

Just me. You are the company’s only owner. You can add owners later, and that changes which federal forms the company files — we will tell you what changes when you do.

More than one person. Two or more people will own the company from the start, including a spouse or a business partner. We ask for each owner’s name and share after checkout, so you do not need those details now.

Your company name

Tell us your first choice and up to two backups. We run a free, instant check against Texas’s own franchise-tax records before you pay — it is a helpful early signal, not a guarantee.

One sentence is enough. We need this to apply for your EIN.

A backup saves a second trip back here if your first choice looks taken.

Informational only, from a free public search — not a guarantee. Texas’s Secretary of State makes the final call when we file, and if a name is rejected, the filing fee is refunded or never charged.

Where we can reach you

Saved right away, before checkout — so if you do not finish paying today, we can still pick this up with you.

Choose your country code, then type the rest of the number.

This is what decides your federal filings. It is not a billing address.

Full refund before work begins. Cancel before we start any work on your account and you get every dollar back — see our Terms of Service.
